President Droupadi Murmu arrives in Hyderabad

Hyderabad/UNI: President Droupadi Murmu arrived here by a special Indian Air Force (IAF) flight from Bengaluru on a one-day visit.

Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, his Cabinet Ministers, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari and other officials received the President at Hakimpet Air Force Station here.

She later left to Rashtrapathi Nilayam in Bollarum by Road.

Murmu will address the closing ceremony of legendary Freedom Fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju's 125th Birth Anniversary Celebrations at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in the evening.

Police imposed traffic restrictions in view of the President's visit.

The President will leave for Nagpur from Hakimpet Air Force Station at 6 pm.
