After opposition's haul, now BJP to showcase its strength tomorrow; 38 NDA allies to attend meeting

New Delhi/IBNS: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Monday claimed that National Democratic Alliance has the support of 38 parties and said that all NDA partners will be participating in tomorrow's meeting in New Delhi.

The announcement was made by the BJP National President JP Nadda here, and said, "This alliance is not for power. This alliance is for service, for strengthening India".

The meeting comes in the wake of 26 opposition parties meeting in Bengaluru to take on the ruling BJP at the Centre.

"Tomorrow the meeting of the National Democratic Alliance has been called in the evening. In the last 9 years, all the parties of NDA have shown interest in the development agenda of NDA, which is being run under the leadership of Modi ji," Nadda said.

On Tuesday all the NDA partners will be meeting at Ashoka Hotel, in what is being seen as a mega show of strength ahead of general elections in 2024.

"The country has decided that in 2024, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, once again the NDA government will be formed," the BJP president said while addressing a press conference at Party headquarters.

"Our unity is based on the interest of the country. It is unbreakable, it is firm," he added.

When asked about the opposition's meeting in Bengaluru, Nadda said, "This is such a coalition, which neither has a leader, nor intention, nor policy nor has the power to take decisions."

"This is a bunch of corruption and scams of 10 years of UPA government," he slammed.

Meanwhile, on Monday, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan met senior BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah a day before the ruling National Democratic Alliance meeting.

Paswan is in talks with the BJP to finalise his party’s share of Lok Sabha seats in Bihar for the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
