Lucknow/IBNS/UNI: Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is scared of the name of 'India' which was decided by the Opposition alliance.

The Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) will take the country in a new direction.

In a statement issued here, Akhilesh said, "Earlier the BJP people used to scare the opposition in the name of India. What matters is that they are afraid of the name India now. The name India is good and is a message. India's message is of development and inclusiveness."

"When it comes to development and inclusiveness, it includes our socialist and secular commitment. Our country should progress and move forward on the path of prosperity."

He said that the people of the country will bid farewell to BJP in the Lok Sabha poll.

"BJP showed a false dream to the people of the country, but that dream has not materialised," he said.

The SP chief said that the victory of the new India alliance was decided when BJP called a meeting of its alliance on the same date. "The public waits for the incumbents and bids farewell to those who are leaving. The BJP meeting was its farewell ceremony," he said.

Yadav said that the problems persist as they were. "Unemployment and inflation are increasing. It was said that demonetisation would end corruption. People changed the government in Karnataka because there was corruption of 40 percent commission," he alleged.

Akhilesh said that demonetisation was the biggest decision of corruption not only in the country but in the world.

"The government first brought 2000 rupees note and then withdrew it.No information has been given that Rs 2000 notes were deposited in which banks the most till date. If the government is not telling this, it means it is with the corrupts.

The truth is that two-thirds of the people of the country are against the BJP. This time all are united to wipe out the BJP," he added.
