Jaipur: Seven children were injured when a private school bus, which was carrying children to school, met with an accident on Monday due to a tyre burst in Kotkasim area of Alwar district in Rajasthan.

The incident took place in the middle of Kotkasim Geeta Ka village.

The bus was going from Kot Kasim to Kishangarh Bas.

A villager, who was coming to Kotkasim from Ghikaka village, suffered a head injury.

ASI Dharampal Yadav said a private school bus operating in Kotkasim was carrying about 15 children from Geeta's village at Kotkasim at 8:30 am when the rear tyre of the driver's side of the bus burst near Begumpur temple.

As a result, the bus was imbalanced, overturned on the road and went into a pit on the side of the road.

As soon as the bus overturned, the bus driver and the conductor broke the shell of the bus and started taking the children out.

Meanwhile, the people coming from the road also stopped there, and after seeing the overturned school bus, they started helping the children get out.

Within a short time, all the children were taken out of the bus, and immediately all the injured were admitted to Kotkasim Hospital.
