SriLankan Airlines, Emirates forge interline agreement to enhance passenger connectivity
Colombo/UNI: SriLankan Airlines and Emirates have entered into a reciprocal interline agreement aimed at bolstering connectivity for travelers.
This partnership promises seamless access to diverse destinations within each other's extensive networks, all via the transit hubs of Colombo and Dubai.
Passengers will benefit from the ease of a single ticket purchase and the convenience of hassle-free baggage transfers.
Under this strategic interline agreement, Emirates passengers will gain access to a network of 15 regional destinations operated by SriLankan Airlines through Colombo.
SriLankan Airlines passengers will have the opportunity to connect to 15 key cities served by Emirates, spanning the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and the United States.
Richard Nuttall, the Chief Executive Officer of SriLankan Airlines, expressed his enthusiasm for this partnership.
"The collaboration offers an array of choices for travelers to connect to and from Sri Lanka, catering to the needs of both our domestic and international passengers."
"Moreover, it extends support to the burgeoning tourism industry in the beautiful 'Pearl of the Indian Ocean," Nuttall said.
