PM Modi lied about setting up 500 factories in Madhya Pradesh: Rahul Gandhi

Neemuch/IBNS/UNI: Accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of having “zero shame,” former Congress President Rahul Gandhi Monday alleged that he “uttered untruth” regarding the establishment of 500 factories in Madhya Pradesh during BJP rule.

Addressing a rally in this district of election-bound Madhya Pradesh, Rahul said, “I heard that Mr Modi came here some days back and said that 500 manufacturing facilities were set up. Has anyone seen these works? Has even a solitary one come up anywhere? The Prime Minister says what he likes; maybe he does not know. He surmises that the populace has no idea or comprehension, which is strange.”

Behind every cellular phone or shirt and under each shoe one reads the words ‘Made in China’, Rahul claimed and asked the gathering whether they have seen a ‘Made in Madhya Pradesh’ tag on the rear of any camera or shirt.

“You have not seen it but this is what we desire to accomplish. I want that after our dispensation assumes the reins, the crores of youth here should not continue to suffer the scourge of unemployment.

"They shall toil in factories and a day will come when a youngster somewhere in China brings out his mobile phone, turns it over, reads ‘Made in Madhya Pradesh’ and says, ‘Hey, where is this Madhya Pradesh? I want to go and see which place this is that has taken all our jobs! This is our dream,” the Congress bigwig said.
