Telangana assembly election campaign to conclude today
Hyderabad/UNI: With the curtain ringing on the canvassing for the Telangana Assembly election at 5 pm on Tuesday, prominent leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress and BRS, including Chief Minister KCR, are gearing up for an extensive campaigning across the state.
Within the BJP, Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti will spearhead the campaign in Hanamkonda, while Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai will concentrate on Nizamabad Urban. Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis is slated to campaign in Devarakonda, Palakurthi, and Narsampet.
Additionally, Maharashtra CM Ek Nath Shinde will lead campaigns in Adilabad, Both, and Dharmapuri constituencies.
Janasena president Pawan Kalyan, in alliance with the BJP, will conduct roadshows in Hyderabad, starting with a road show on behalf of the Jana Sena candidate in Kukatpally. Pawan's roadshow will commence from Balanagar Square and proceed through New Bowenpally Cross Road, Bowenpally PS, Old Bowenpally Check Post, Hazmat Pate Bus Stop, and conclude at the Ambedkar Statue.
Simultaneously, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are scheduled to conduct road shows and corner meetings in three areas in Hyderabad. Rahul will campaign in Jubilee Hills at 10:00 hours, Nampally at 1200 hours, and Malkajgiri at 1400 hours. Priyanka Gandhi will actively participate in the election campaign in Zaheerabad and Malkajgiri constituencies.
TPCC chief Revanth Reddy has organized campaigns in Kamareddy and Malkajgiri, with a road show scheduled for Kamareddy town at 1000 hours and another in Domakonda at 1100 hours.
Revanth, along with Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, will participate in a road show in Malkajgiri at 14:30 hours. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will hold a press meet at Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday.
Chief Minister KCR will campaign in three constituencies today. A Praja Ashirvada Sabha will be organised in Gajwel, along with Warangal West and Warangal East constituencies.
Polling is scheduled on November 30 and counting will take place on December 3.
