EAM S Jaishankar meets Indian community members in Russia, praises their contribution to building steady relationship between two nations
Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has interacted with the Indian community members in Russia and appreciated their contributions to building a 'strong' relationship between the two nations.

He said: "The Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership reflects experiences and sentiments of last 75 years. Urged the community to contribute to the deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation. Their role in promoting close ties between our civil societies is invaluable."
During his ongoing visit, he also met Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.
Jaishankar said he had a 'comprehensive and productive meeting' with Manturov.
"Noted the significant progress in trade, finance, connectivity, energy, civil aviation and nuclear domains," he wrote on X.

He said: "Finalized the program of cooperation on Russian Far East. Expect to hold early meeting of EaEU-India FTA negotiators. Will jointly organize connectivity events across land and maritime corridors."
S. Jaishankar will visit Russia on December 25-29 as a part of the ongoing high-level exchanges between the two sides.
