Indian Navy Designs of Indian Navy's new epaulettes for top-ranked officers draw inspiration from Shivaji
Drawing inspiration from Rajmudra of Chhatrapati Shivaji, the Indian Navy on Friday (December 29, 2023) unveiled the new design of epaulettes that officers will wear.
Interestingly, Indian PM Narendra Modi announced the introduction of the new design during the Navy Day address at Sindhudurg earlier this month.

The current design was unveiled for the ranks of Admiral, Vice Admiral and Rear Admiral.
