Police sources told UNI that Saligram, a resident of Nurpur village, was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon Guddu Rathore and was hacked to death.

"The accused later fled from the spot with the murder weapon," they said.

Police sources said that preliminary investigation has revealed minor dispute between the duo as the cause of murder.

"Family members of the deceased that a few days back Guddu's cattle strayed in Saligram's field, which led to dispute between the duo, but the matter was sorted out after local residents intervened," they said.
