New Delhi/IBNS/UNI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday conducted multi-state searches at 32 locations in Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab against Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), Lawrence Bishnoi Gang, and others related to the terror activities being carried out in the country.

As per the statement by the NIA, several illegal arms and ammunition, along with incriminating documents, digital devices, and cash, have been seized.

"The seizures in the searches included two pistols, two magazines, and ammunition, along with cash amounting to Rs 4.60 lakhs, besides documents and digital devices," the NIA said.

Jhajjar and Sonipat in Haryana are among the other places being searched by the agency. Agency sleuths searched the premises of members linked to dreaded gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's organised terror-crime syndicate.

The raids were conducted days after the NIA on Jan 6 attached four properties owned by Lawrence Bishnoi.

The agency said a massive multi-state crackdown was carried out in three cases relating to conspiracies and activities of the banned Babbar Khalsa International and the Lawrence Bishnoi crime syndicate, among others.

Of these properties, three were immovable, and one was movable. The properties were attached in a coordinated swoop by the NIA teams in Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, of 1967 earlier.

The NIA has said it found all these properties to be 'proceeds of terrorism', used for hatching terror conspiracies and executing serious crimes.
