Mamata Banerjee suffers injury, taken to Kolkata hospital

Kolkata/IBNS: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday suffered major injury and was taken to a state-run hospital in the city.

In an X post of the Trinamool Congress, Mamata was seen suffering an injury in the forehead.

The pictures show Mamata having blood stains on her face.

The cause of the injury is yet to be known.

Mamata was in the city to unveil a statue of late Kolkata Mayor Subrata Mukherjee in the evening.
