Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday ridiculed the INDIA bloc leaders for raising objections over his guarantee and demanding to ban it, dubbing it illegal.

Modi while addressing a public meeting here in favour of BJP candidate Vivek Thakur from Nawada Lok Sabha seat, in ongoing Parliamentary elections, ridiculed INDIA bloc leaders for objecting to his guarantee during campaigning in general elections.

"What he was promising to people during elections, was his guarantee to fulfill it as well," he stressed.

"It is strange to note that some leaders of the INDIA bloc have objections over my guarantee and they are demanding to ban it, saying it is illegal," the Prime Minister asked the people what was wrong if he was giving a guarantee to fulfill the promises being made by him in ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Modi said that there was a massive wave in favour of the BJP-led NDA across the country in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

"NDA government in last ten years has done lots of works but all these are just trailer and many more would be done if voted to power for third consecutive terms", the Prime Minister said adding that achievements of India in last ten years were being appreciated all around the world including Europe, Africa, and Australia. It was not due to him but the power of the votes of the people, which enabled him to form his government at the Centre, he remarked.
