Terrorist attack on Indian Airforce convoy in J&K's Poonch, 5 personnel injured
Poonch (Jammu Kashmir): Terrorists attacked two vehicles in a convoy of the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Saturday evening in the Surankote area of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir, leaving five soldiers injured, media reports said.
One of the airmen is said to be in critical condition, reported NDTV.
All the injured have been transported to a hospital for medical care. Additional troops have been deployed to the area, and efforts to combat terrorism are currently in progress, the report said.

This is the first significant assault on the armed forces in the region this year, following a series of terrorist incidents targeting the army last year.
Post-attack visuals displayed numerous bullet holes on the windshield of the targeted vehicle, according to the report.
"An Indian Air Force vehicles' convoy was attacked by terrorists in the Poonch district of J&K. The local Rashtriya Rifles unit has started cordon and search operations in the area. The vehicles have been secured inside the air base in the general area near Shahsitar. Military personnel have suffered injuries," sources in the security forces said.
