New Delhi/IBNS: The Delhi Police has found "nothing suspicious" in the bomb threat mails sent to the airport and a few hospitals on Sunday afternoon, media reports said.

"An email was received at Burari Hospital regarding a bomb threat. Local police, bomb squad, dog squad were rushed to the spot. Teams are checking the hospital. Nothing suspicious has been found yet," Deputy Commission of Police (North) M K Meena said as quoted by Times Now.

The bomb threat mails were received by the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, Burari Government Hospitals and Mangolpuri Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in the national capital.

A search operation jointly by Delhi Police and Fire Services Department teams was launched.

On May 1 in Delhi, as many as 131 schools were evacuated after the classes were stopped midway and students were asked to leave after they received bomb threats via emails.

Examinations in some of the schools were also disrupted.

The threat emails were hoax, police said after the probe.
