New Delhi/IBNS: Union Minister Jyotiradtiya Scindia's son Mahanaaryaman Scindia is positive that his father, who has been allocated a cabinet berth in the third Modi government, will bring about a chance.

Speaking to ANI, Mahanaaryaman said, "I thank people for giving us a chance. We are looking forward to working for the people, their progress and development."

"He has a lot of opportunities to bring a change and I am sure he will," the 28-year-old added.

Jyotiraditya Scindia has been put in charge of the Telecom ministry.

Jyotiraditya, the son of late Congress leader Madhavrao Scindia, has won from Madhya Pradesh's Guna constituency by over 5 lakh votes in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Taking charge of his office, Jyotiraditya said, "It is also a little bit coming full circle for me because as mentioned, I worked as the junior minister in this department."

The BJP leader was the junior union minister of the same department during the UPA regime.
