Who is Pavithra Gowda, the co-accused in Karnataka murder case involving Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa?

Bengaluru/IBNS: Popular Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa was on Wednesday arrested in connection with a murder case in Bengaluru.

He has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 33-year-old man, named Renukaswamy, who was from Chitradunga, Bengaluru.

Following his arrest, Thoogudeepa's girlfriend, Kannada actress Pavithra Gowda has also been detained in the same case, which has led to 13 arrests in total so far.

Who is Pavithra Gowda?

Pavithra has appeared in both films and television. She worked in Chatrigalu Saar Chatrigalu, Agamya, Preethi Kithabu.

The actress made her debut in Kannada films in 2016 with 54321.

She has also joined fashion designing.

Pavithra created a storm after she shared a video celebrating the 10 years of her relationship with Thoogudeepa, who has been married to Vijaya Lakshmi for the last 20 years.

According to police, the victim had posted an objectionable comment on Pavithra's Instagram handle accusing her of causing a rift between Thoogudeepa and his wife.
