It was not only Narendra Modi who was greeting politicians in his classical 'Namaste' posture, there was a European leader who also preferred to follow the traditional Indian style to wish visiting world leaders in Italy as they arrived for the G7 Summit.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was seen welcoming the global leaders with 'Namaste' posture and the videos of her act are now viral on social media.

The Italian city of  Apulia is hosting the summit this year from June 13 to June 15.

Meanwhile, Indian PM Narendra Modi is vising the country to attend the summit at the invitation of Meloni.

On the sidelines of the event, he met several top leaders like British PM Rishi Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron.

This is Modi's first foreign trip since coming to power for the third stright term.
