Singer Usha Uthup's husband Jani Chacko Uthup dies of heart failure

Kolkata/IBNS: Pop singer Usha Uthup's husband Jani Chacko Uthup died of heart failure in Kolkata on Monday. He was 78.

According to reports, Jani Chacko Uthup did not have any ailment and even shared his morning tea with Usha Uthup.

As a part of their daily routine, the couple had a chat in the morning and watched television for some time.

He felt uneasy all of a sudden and was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead.

Usha Uthup was at her office when he felt sick.

Professionally Jani Chacko Uthup was an employee of a tea estate. The couple together has a son and a daughter.

His body was initially kept at the 'Peace World'. The families of both sides, who mostly live in south India, were informed. The last rites will be held on Tuesday.

Jani Chacko was Usha's second husband and as per reports, they started seeing each other while the singer was still married to her first husband.

He expressed his feelings directly to Usha's first husband Ramu and then eventually got married.
