Elon Musk congratulates Narendra Modi on being most followed world leader on X
Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has congratulated Indian PM Narendra Modi on becoming the most followed world leader on his owned X platform.

Modi took oath for the record third term as Prime Minister this year after registering victory in the Lok Sabha polls and he added one more milestone to his social media usage history on Sunday when he became the most followed global leader on X with over 100 million followers.
In the list of top global leaders, Modi is far ahead of US President Joe Biden (38.1 million followers), Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed (11.2 million followers) and Pope Francis (18.5 million followers).
He is also far ahead of Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi who is followed by 26.4 million followers on X.
Delhi Chief Minister and another key opponent of Modi in the political paradigm, Arvind Kejriwal, is currently followed by 27.5 million followers on X.
Modi is a regular user of social media platforms especially X where he shares his thoughts, greetings, reactions and updates on his political journey.
Not only politicians, Modi also has more followers than popular celebrities and sports personalities like Virat Kohli (64.1 million), Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr (63.6 million), American basketball player LeBron James (52.9 million) international singing icon Taylor Swift (95.3 million), Lady Gaga (83.1 million), and Kim Kardashian (75.2 million).
