Kolkata: Temporary gate at Dhanyo Dhanyo Auditorium collapses ahead of cultural event to be attended by CM Mamata Banerjee, 2 injured

At least two people were hurt after a temporary gate at Dhanyo Dhanyo Auditorium in Kolkata's Alipore area collapsed on Wednesday ahead of a cultural event which was scheduled to be attended by CM Mamata Banerjee.

The injured people were rushed to SSKM hospital.

The event was organised by the West Bengal Information and Cultural Affairs Department to mark the 44th death anniversary of legendary Bengali actor Uttam Kumar.

The entire incident was caught on camera and went viral on the social media.
