Kathua Police have released sketches of four terrorists who were seen in dhoks (mus houses) in Jammu and Kashmir and sought information on them.

The police announced Rs. 20 lakh cash reward for information on them.

"Kathua Police releases sketches of 04 terrorists who were last seen in dhoks of Malhar , Bani & Seojdhar. A reward of 05lakhs on each terrorist for an actionable information. Anyone with credible information of terrorists will also be suitably rewarded," police posted on X.

Jammu and Kashmir has been witnessing a spike in terrorist activities in recent months.

Five Army personnel were killed and as many injured after terrorists attacked a military convoy in the remote Machedi area of Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district last month.

The Army vehicles were on a routine patrol on the Machedi-Kindli-Malhar road when the terrorists opened fire on them about 150 km from Kathua.

After the initial attack, terrorists threw a grenade and then opened fire.
