After District Magistrate, now Officer on Spl Duty commits suicide in Bihar’s Buxur district

Patna, Nov 19 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): A senior official in Bihar committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in his home on early Sunday morning.

The victim Taukir Akram was the Officer on Special Duty to the District Magistrate of Buxur committed suicide.

The victim had returned to his residence late Saturday night after attending a meeting in Patna.

The reason for his suicide is not known but the victim family members said his salary had been withheld for the past eight months as a result of which he was living in depression.

This is the second such incident in Buxur.

Earlier in August this year, then Buxur district magistrate Mukesh Kumar Pandey had committed suicide by jumping before a running train in Ghaziabad. 

The victim was said to be fed with his own life and has lost his “belief on human’s existence".
