Bareilly/UNI: A student was killed while shooting a Tik Tok video at the Muriya Bhikampur village in the Hafizganj area of this district of Uttar Pradesh, police sources said on Tuesday.

Circle Officer (Nawabganj) Yogendra Kumar said that the incident occurred with the son of one Virendra Kumar, who is in the Army, and posted in Roorkee.

On Monday, his 18-year-old son Keshav, asked for the service revolver from his mother Savitri, saying that he wanted to shoot a video for Tik Tok. When his mother did not agree, Keshav started pressuring her for the same.

Ms Savitri yielded to his demand and gave him the revolver, after which she went out of the room to complete household chores.

Meanwhile, when they heard the sound of gunshot, Savitri and other family members rushed towards the room to find Keshav lying in a pool of blood.

Keshav, who received a bullet injury on his head, was rushed to a hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.

The family was not aware that the revolver was loaded and Keshav reportedly hit the trigger while shooting the video, which resulted in his death.
