293 candidates recruited in Army from 4 districts

New Delhi, Oct 16 (IBNS) Army Recruiting Office, Barrackpore inducted 293 candidates from the districts of North 24 Parganas, Hooghly, Bankura & Purulia into the Army on Oct 15.

Brigadier SS Prasad, Deputy Director General (Recruiting) of West Bengal, Orissa & Sikkim was the Chief Guest on the occasion. 

He motivated the fresh recruits on joining the Army. Colonel A D Mathur, Director Recruiting handed over the enrolment documents to the recruits. Proud parents were present at the function. Railways provided extra coaches for transporting these candidates to their training centres.
