2G scam: Court to record statement on May 15
Raja and other accused in the case were to record their statements in the case on Monday.
However, they sought more time from the court to prepare their statements.
The court will hear the case next on May 15.
In one of the biggest scams of Independent India, allegedly masterminded by Raja, 2G spectrum was given away at throwaway prices in 2008 causing a potential revenue loss of up to Rs 1.76 lakh crore.
Raja, who had languished in New Delhi's Tihar jail for 15 months in connection to the scam, was released on bail in 2012. He was arrested in 2011.
A landmark judgement by the Supreme Court in 2012 had quashed 122 licenses issued under the sale while a parliamentary panel was set up to study the scandal.
