A delightful experience, says PM Modi after meeting minority religious leaders

Indian PM Narendra Modi recently met religious leaders from the Indian Minorities Foundation in Parliament and said his experience was delightful.

“Delighted to meet a delegation of religious leaders in Parliament today. I thank them for their kind words on the development trajectory of our nation," Modi posted on X.

About 25 leading and luminous figures of diverse religious and spiritual leaders converged from all across India. They included Shri Gurinder Singh Dhillon Babaji, head of Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB); Pyare Jiya Khan, Chairman, Baba Tajuddin Trust, Nagpur. The leaders said they transcended boundaries to embrace the essence of Oneness, Unity in Diversity, Peace, and Harmony in India.

As they all reflected on this transformative moment, all were in complete affirmation with the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the inspiring efforts of the Indian Minority Foundation.

Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Gaddi Nashin of Dargah Ajmer Sharif, said in a statement: "In the sacred realm of spirituality and faith traditions, where the whispers of the divine reverberate through the ages, Haji Syed Salman Chishty, the Gaddi Nashin of Dargah Ajmer Sharif, lends his voice to the profound importance and wisdom of dialogue that resonates with the eternal truth as dialogue is not merely a conversation; it is the foundational stone upon which the edifice of success, unity, and peace stands."

"In a world often marked by division and discord, the power of dialogue stands as a beacon, illuminating the path towards unity and success. It is within the exchanges of ideas, beliefs, and aspirations that the threads of a strong and harmonious society are woven," he said.

Inside the Indian Parliament, as the spiritual leaders gathered, they all together demonstrated that dialogue is not merely a conversation but a sacred communion of hearts and minds, a harmonious symphony that resonates with the chords of Oneness.

Narendra Modi, a statesman of vision and dedication, has consistently emphasized the importance of dialogue in fostering national prosperity, they said.

"His commitment to building bridges of understanding and collaboration is mirrored in this historic gathering.  By providing a platform for spiritual leaders from diverse traditions, he has paved the way for a dialogue that transcends the boundaries of religion, creating a tapestry woven with the threads of Unity in Diversity," the foundation said.

The Indian Minority Foundation said it stands as a testament to the transformative power of collective effort. In collaboration with spiritual leaders, this foundation has become a catalyst for change, fostering an environment where the richness of diverse perspectives converges into a shared vision for our nation’s success.

Their role in orchestrating this gathering is commendable, a testament to their commitment to nurturing harmony and understanding among India's varied communities, the religious leaders said.

"As the spiritual leaders shared their insights within the hallowed halls of the New Parliament of India, a resounding message of Oneness echoed through the air. Each leader brought forth the teachings of their respective faiths, emphasizing the common thread that unites humanity. The diverse voices merged into a harmonious chorus, reminding us that true success is not measured in individual achievements but in the collective spirit of unity," Haji Syed Salman Chishty said.

"Peace, Harmony and Unity emerged as the central themes, transcending religious and spiritual boundaries. The leaders, in unison, affirmed that true success lies not only in economic prosperity but in the tranquility that stems from understanding, respect, and acceptance. Their words echoed a universal truth – that a nation flourishes when its people live in peace, honoring the sanctity of each other's beliefs," he said.

The resonance of "Jai Hind" echoed through the corridors, symbolizing a collective pledge towards the nation's prosperity.

It encapsulated the spirit of patriotism that transcends individual affiliations, echoing the sentiment that, in unity, lies the strength of the nation.

The spiritual leaders, by extending their message to the world at large, emphasized that India's success is intertwined with the global pursuit of peace and harmony.

In this historic gathering, the threads of dialogue intertwined with the warp and weft of spirituality have formed a strong foundation.

"This foundation is not confined to the walls of the New Parliament but extends into the hearts of the citizens, fostering a collective consciousness that recognizes the interdependence of all," the spiritual leader said.

Haji Syed Salman Chishty, the Gaddi Nashin of the spiritual legacy of Dargah Ajmer Sharif, which has walked the path of Sufism,  emphasized that dialogue is the key that unlocks the doors to success. It is not a mere exchange of words but a communion of souls, a shared exploration of the divine principles that underpin our collective journey.

Haji Syed Salman Chishty emphasizes that the journey towards success is intertwined with recognizing the interconnectedness of all beings. Dialogue becomes the medium through which this recognition blossoms, transcending the boundaries that often fragment societies.

He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the unique vision of the Indian Minority Foundation for orchestrating this historic moment.
