At the occasion, Kejriwal promised to restore water connections for unauthorized colonies. "We stand firm on our commitment for cheap water. We have been working on this," he said.

Last week, Kejriwal announced that the second phase of the odd-even vehicle scheme will be implemented in the national capital from April 15 till the end of the month.

Last year, on this date, a tsunami hit Delhi Assembly polls in the form of Arvind Kejriwal as his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) knocked down Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress to register a landslide victory in the national capital to form a government for the second time.

Winning 67 seats out of the total 70, the AAP surpassed the figures that were projected by exit polls.

Starting another innings in his political career, Kejriwal, who had shocked Delhi by resigning as the Delhi Chief Minister last year Feb only after 49 days in power, apologised to the people before coming to power.

After completing a year, AAP has now come up with a new slogan: "Pehla Saal Bemisaal."
