Air India flight rams into aerobridge, leads to altercation between AI and MIAL

Mumbai, Jul 2 (IBNS): An Air India flight, carrying around 300-odd passengers, rammed into a stationed aerobridge upon its arrival from Riyadh on Friday, reports said.

Though nobody was hurt in the mishap, it started off an altercation between the company and the Mumbai airport authorities, Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL).

Air India stated that the wrong information provided by the airport authorities led to the mishap, in which an engine was dented.

Denying the accusation, MIAL officials said that the flight was guided by Air India officials when it collided with the stationed aerobridge.
