Akhilesh Yadav slams BJP chief Amit Shah over his 50 years rule comment
New Delhi, Sept 16 (IBNS): Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah ' said too much' when he mentioned that his party will rule the country for the next 50 years.
"He said too much," Yadav, who is also a top Samajwadi Party leader, said while speaking at the NDTV Yuva Conclave.
"People who are saying they will rule for 50 years, will hardly be around that long," Akhilesh Yadav said.
He said people of the country will give their verdict on who will rule the nation during the next Lok Sabha polls.
"Forget 50 years, people will give their verdict in 50 weeks," he said.
Amit Shah had made the remark during the national executive meet of the BJP last week
