New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend seven crucial meetings today to address various issues, media reported, citing sources.

The day will start with a meeting to review the aftermath of Cyclone Remal in West Bengal and neighbouring regions, with a particular focus on the northeastern states.

The cyclone has inflicted severe damage, necessitating urgent assessment and coordinated relief efforts.

Next, PM Modi will address the escalating heatwave conditions affecting different parts of the country.

With soaring temperatures, several deaths have been reported across India, including 33 poll officials who died in Uttar Pradesh recently.

In preparation for World Environment Day on June 5, the Prime Minister will hold a meeting to review the plans for large-scale celebrations.

The fourth meeting of the day will be an extensive brainstorming session to discuss the government's 100-day post-elections agenda.

This session will focus on key policy initiatives and governance strategies for the upcoming months as the BJP aims for a third consecutive term.

Meanwhile, the results of the Assembly elections in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh are expected today, ahead of the Lok Sabha election results set to be declared on June 4.

Voting for the 543-member Lok Sabha and the Assembly elections in Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh concluded yesterday, following a seven-phase election process.
