Amit Shah to address two rallies in Assam today

Guwahati, Mar 28 (IBNS): BJP national president Amit Shah will visit Assam today and address two rallies.

He will be campaigning for the BJP and its ally AGP and addressing two election rallies in Kaliabor and Jorhat Lok Sabha constituencies.

Shah is scheduled to attend an election campaign rally at T Aao Stadium, Kaliabor, in Central Assam's Nagaon district around 1:30 pm.

BJP's ally party AGP's Moni Madhav Mahanta is contesting from the Kaliabor seat, which is presently held by Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi.

Shah will attend another election campaign rally to be held at Jorhat at around 3:30 pm.

He will be campaigning there for BJP candidate Tapan Kumar Gogoi.

The first phase election for five seats in Assam will be held on April 11.
