Andhra Pradesh govt planning to launch 'AP Purse'

Vijayawada, Nov 30 (IBNS): In a bid to help people adopt themselves to cashless payments, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said his government is planning to launch 'AP Purse'.

Naidu said 'AP Purse' is a mobile wallet.

"Our Govt is planning to launch 'AP Purse', a mobile wallet that'll help people transition to cashless payments. (1/2)," Naidu tweeted.

He said: "We are also working on making Andhra Pradesh 1st state in India to completely switch to digital transactions to ensure transparency. (2/2)."

The Centre on Nov 8 announced banning of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 currency notes.
