Anupam Kher: Actor rejects visa offer by Pakistani Envoy

Mumbai, Feb 3 (IBNS) A day after actor Anupam Kher was denied visa by the Pakistan, High Commissioner of Pakistan Abdul Basit apologised to Kher for the incident, terming it a misunderstanding and offered him a visa which was turned down by the thespian, according to reports.

Basit was quoted in meadia as saying whatever happened should not have happened.

In a tweet Kher wrote: "Thank you Mr. @abasitpak1 for your call & offering me visa to visit Karachi. I appreciate it. Unfortunately i've given away those dates now."
