Arun Jaitley returns home after kidney transplant

New Delhi, June 4 (IBNS): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has returned home after undergoing a kidney trnasplant.

He was admitted to AIIMS in the national capital for three weeks.

Jaitley tweeted to express his gratitude to the doctors, nurses and paramedics who took care of him in the hospital.

" Delighted to be back at Home. My gratitude to the Doctors, Nursing officers and the paramedics who looked after me for over the past three weeks. I wish to thank all well-wishers, colleagues and friends who were very concerned and continued to wish me for my recovery," Jaitley tweeted.

Jaitley was admitted to hospital on May 12.

Railways Minister Piyush Goyal was given the charge of the finance ministry in the absence of Jaitley.
