Arvind Kejriwal calls emergency meeting amid Covid surge in Delhi
New Delhi/UNI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called an emergency meeting at his residence on Friday in the wake of an increase in coronavirus infections in the national capital.
The meeting will be held at 1600 hours during which action plan, vaccination, containment zones and management of beds in hospitals will be reviewed, AAP posted on Twitter.
"CM office to hold an urgent meeting at 4 pm tomorrow (Friday), Health Minister Satyendar Jain and other department officials to remain present," said a statement from the Chief Minister's office.
In the last 24 hours, Delhi saw 1.819 coronavirus infections, taking the caseload to 66,2430.
