Assam: Three people killed, five injured in two road mishaps

Guwahati, Dec 23 (IBNS): At least three people were killed and five others injured in two separate road mishaps in Assam’s Dibrugarh and Kokrajhar district in the past 24 hours.

According to the reports, three people of a family were killed and three others injured while a speedy Maruti van hit a roadside parked truck at Moran area in Dibrugarh district on Saturday.

The injured persons were rushed to the nearest hospital.

On the other hand, two people injured while a motorcycle hit a roadside electric pole in Kokrajhar on Saturday night.

Locals and police rescued the injured persons and admitted them at hospital.
