Australian High Commissioner expresses sadness over recent attack by pro-Khalistani members on Indians
Melbourne/New Delhi: Australia’s High Commissioner to India Barry O’ Farrell has expressed his 'sadness' over the alleged attack by pro-Khalistan group members on Indians carrying the tricolour in their hands at Fed Square in Melbourne.
"Saddened by these scenes so soon after Australia and India celebrate diversity and unity on their respective national days. Our commitment to peaceful protest does not extend to violence," he tweeted.

At least five persons were hurt as pro-Khalistan supporters allegedly attacked Indians, who were carrying Tricolour in their hands, in Melbourne city of Australia on Sunday.
According to media reports, two people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
The injured people are undergoing treatment in hospital.
