Bangal polls: Exit polls predict TMC win, tough battle

New Delhi, May 16 (IBNS): The Exit Polls conducted by ABP- Ananda showed Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress will win the Assembly polls to form the government in West Bengal.

The Exit Polls predicted that TMC is likely to grab  163 seats in the state while the Left-Congress alliance might win 126 seats.

The BJP will win 1 seat while others are likely to win 4 seats, predicted the Exit Polls.

As per the India Today-Axis My India Exit polls,the ruling TMC is going to win 233-253 seats while the Left alliance might get 38-51 seats and the  BJP is likely to grab 1-5 seats.

Polling in West Bengal was held in six phases.

Mamata Banerjee and her TMC had formed the government in the state after winning the Assembly polls in 2011.
