Bhutan confers highest award on Naendra Modi
Thimpu: Bhutan on Friday conferred the highest civilian award on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for extending "unconditional friendship" during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotay Tshering made the announcement regarding the Order of the Druk Gyalpo.
A Bhutanese government statement said the recognition was for India's decision to help landlocked Bhutan during the pandemic.
