Patna, Sept 9 (The Bihar Post/IBNS): A man in Bihar beat his father to death for failing to pay only Rs 10.

The incident took place at Jaipatti village in northern Bihar’s Madhbani district yesterday.

Police said Dharmendra Yadav, 25, sought Rs 10 from his father to buy khaini (tobacco) but he refused.

This led to a verbal duel between the two after which the accused picked up a fuel wood in his hand and began assaulting his father as he fell on the ground.

He was rushed to a local hospital by the family members but the doctors declared him brought dead.

The police have arrested the accused and sent him to jail. Police said a case of murder has been registered against the accused.
