Bihar: Mother-daughter stoned to death

Dehri-on-Sone, May 18 (UNI) A mother and her daughter were stoned to death at Chaukhada village under Nauhatta police station area in Rohtas district late last night.

Police said here today that one Reshmi Devi (45), wife of Naresh Bind and her daughter Radhika Kumari (14) were killed when outlaws hit their heads with heavy stone. Sources said their end came when both of them were fast asleep at their residence. The bodies had been sent to Sasasarm Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Police said the motive behind twin murder was not immediately known. Sources said Naresh Bind and his son were not present in the house when their family members were attacked as they had gone somewhere to attend a marriage function. Narensh Bind`s daughter-in-law was sleeping inside the house while her wife and daughter were sleeping at the verandah of their house when criminal attacked.
