Bihar: Two die in suspected condition, as many fall sick after taking homeopathic medicine

Begusarai, May 14 (UNI) Two people died and as many fell sick after taking homeopathic medicine at Faredi village under Matihani police station area in the district last night.

Police said here today that four people identified as Murari Ram, Ram Bahabur Sah, Hardev Ram and Kongres Sah fell sick after taking homeopathic medicine at Faredi village last evening. Sources said all of them were admitted to a private nursing home where Murari Ram (45) and Ram Bahadur Sah (50) died during treatment.


Police said, local people infuriated over the incident blocked Matihan-Begusarai main road and accused homeopathic medicine trader Mohammed Israel of being involved in selling medicines by mixing them with intoxicants.

Further investigation was on.
