BJP's candidate from Bangalore South seat Tejasvi Surya promises to become a committed ambassador of Modi

Bangalore, Mar 26 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate from Bangalore South seat in Karnataka Tejasvi Surya on Tuesday said he will try to be a committed ambassador of PM Narendra Modi.

Suyra filed the nomination paper for the Lok Sabha polls on Tuesday.

"I have been blessed with an opportunity to contest as @BJP4India candidate from Bangalore South. I promise to be a committed ambassador of PM Narendra Modi. Join me today as I my file my nomination and embark on this new journey," he tweeted.

The young politician also thanked BJP top leader BS Yeddyurappa and said his exemplary leadership has always been a source of leadership for him.

"Emerge Victorious" said Sh. @BSYBJP ji as he handed me the B form today morning.His exemplary leadership has always been a source of inspiration for me. For that, he'll forever be my leader! Thank you for everything Sh. @BSYBJP ji! I promise, I'll make you proud!," Surya said.

The seat was earlier represented by  Union Minister Ananth Kumar.

He passed away last year.

Ananth Kumar's wife Tejaswini Ananth Kumar's name was doing the rounds over a possible candidate for the seat but it was Surya whom the party fielded for the contest.
