Blast rocks Shillong, none hurt

Shillong: A blast hit Meghalaya capital Shillong on Sunday, police said.

No one was hurt in the incident.

The blast occurred outside the Shillong Wine Store in Police Bazar at around 6-30 pm.

A team of senior police officers has rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.

“Police have cordoned off the area. Forensic and NSG teams are inspecting and examining it,” an officer said, adding further details are awaited.
