Both Houses of Parliament adjourned over Lalit Modi, Vyapam issues

New Delhi, Jul 22 (IBNS) The Lok Sabha was adjourned till noon and the Rajya Sabh for 15 minutes as the aggressive Congress continued to create uproar on the Lalit Modi issue on the second day of the monsoon session of parliament on Wednesday.

As the proceedings in the Lok Sabha bean for the day the Congress members were seen wearing black bands to register protest against the government on the Lalit Modi issue and Vyapam scam that the party has made its weapons to attack the ruling BJP.

But  Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said she cannot allow MPs to wear black bands in the House.

She adjourned the house till noon.

In the Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley initiates a discussion over row on Sushma Swaraj amid uproar by opposition parties.

But the house had to be adjourned for 15 minutes till 11:30 am after uproar by Opposition over Sushma  Swaraj.

 
This is the second consecutive day that parliament witnessed a stalemate like situation with proceedings refusing to move ahead because of repeated adjournments forced by opposition agitation.
