BRS candidate injured in knife attack during Telangana election campaign

Siddipet/UNI: Kota Prabhakar Reddy, Member of Parliament (MP) from Medak and Dubbaka BRS MLA candidate, was brutally attacked with a knife by an unidentified assailant while he was engaged in an election campaign in Surampalli village, Doultabad Mandal in this district on Monday.

The wounded MP was swiftly transported to Gajwel Hospital for urgent medical attention.

The party workers managed to apprehend the unidentified attacker and handed over to the police after beating him.

The assailant's identity remains unknown as law enforcement continues its investigation.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway, the police added.
