Cambodian leaders takes shot of India-made Covid-19 vaccine

Phnom Penh: Several Cambodian leaders have taken a shot of AstraZeneca's 'Made-in-India' CoviShield COVID-19 vaccines.

The leaders include President of National Assembly Heng Samrin, President of Senate Say Chhum, Deputy PM of National Assembly Samdech Heng Samrin.

India in Cambodia tweeted: "Cambodian Leaders got the 1st shot of #MadeInIndia vaccine #AstraZeneca 1 DPM of Economy 2 Senior Minister of Public Transport 3 Senior Minister of Anti Corruption Unit 4 Minister of Agriculture @PMOIndia @IndianDiplomacy @MEAIndia @SerumInstIndia
#We4Vaccine."

India last month approved supply of 1,00,000 doses of C OVID-19 vaccines to Cambodia under the Vaccine Maitri initiative.
