Century-old building collapses in Kolkata, several feared trapped

Kolkata, Jul 25 (IBNS) : Several people were feared trapped as a portion of a century-old building collapsed in central Kolkata's Bowbazar area on Tuesday.

According to reports, rescue operations are underway. Nobody is said to be injured.

The building is located on India Mirror Street under Taltala police station. The incident occurred at around 12 45 pm.

Two fire engines and a huge team from the fire department along with personnel from Disaster Management units and police are involved in the rescue operation.
