Chandrababu Naidu, KCR meet to discuss disputed issues
The Chief Ministers agreed to resolve several controversial issues between the two neighbouring states since the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, media reports said.
The meeting was held in the presence of Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan.
"Narasimhan, who is the Governor for two new states, took the initiative to bring the warring Chief Ministers at Raj Bhavan and discuss the disputed issues. The meeting of two CMs was out to ease tensions in both the states, especially in Hyderabad," Deccan Chronicle reported.
Naidu later tweeted: "Governments stay for 5 yrs. States are permanent. People are permanent residents of a state. We need peace & harmony among Telugu people."
